SSC Junior Hindi Translator Eligibility Criteria

Junior Hindi Translator requires expertise in Hindi & English subjects. To apply for SSC JHT Recruitment 2018, candidates must check that they are properly qualified or not. There are various qualifications that are required for each post code. Educational qualification and age limit criteria can be checked below.

Educational Qualification:

Post Code A to E: Applicants must have completed their master’s degree in Hindi & English as an elective or compulsory subject. The medium of examination can also be English. The degree must be from a recognized university/institute. OR Aspirants must have a master’s degree from the recognized university in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as an elective or compulsory subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level. OR Applicants must have completed diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including Government of India Undertaking.

Post Code F: Aspirants must have completed master’s degree from the recognized university in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as an elective or compulsory subject at degree level. OR Applicants have to complete bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as main subjects compulsory and elective.

Post Code G: Contenders must have completed degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects(either compulsory or elective) from a recognized university/institute & Master’s degree in any subject and B.Ed. from a recognized university/institute.

Age Limit: Age of the aspirants should not be more than 30 years as on 1st January 2018. Concession in age for reserved category candidates is provided as per government rules.

SSC JHT Work Timings

The work of Junior Hindi Translator is stress free and the timings will depend on the office timings of the department where the employee is posted in.
